Web IRC client to my channel

IRC is still one of the simplest ways to keep a small technical chat room open. I keep a channel on Libera.Chat, and this page embeds the official web client so you can join without installing an IRC application first.

下記のWeb IRCへログインするとonlineの私と話すことができます。ブラウザだけで入れるので、 IRCクライアントの設定をしなくても一度試せます。

Web IRC에 guest로 로그인하시면 저랑 바로 말씀하실 수 있습니다. 별도 IRC 클라이언트를 설치하지 않아도 브라우저에서 바로 들어올 수 있게 해 둔 페이지입니다.

How to join

• Use the embedded Libera.Chat client below.
• Keep the suggested guest nickname, or choose your own nickname.
• Join the #rhheo channel.
• If I am online, send a short message there. If I am away, email is more reliable.

Connection details

If you already use an IRC client, connect to irc.libera.chat with TLS on port 6697, then join #rhheo.

This page is intentionally small: it is just a bridge from my personal site to a public IRC channel, useful for quick technical conversations and experiments around old but durable internet tools.
