How I work

Readable systems over unnecessary complexity.

My bias is toward code and infrastructure that stay understandable under change. Fast delivery matters, but only if the result remains maintainable when it is running in production.

Infrastructure

Cloud and self-managed environments.

I run and debug AWS infrastructure, bare Linux servers, containers, proxies, mail, VPN-connected home systems, and public entry points. I like systems that can be explained without hiding the operational reality.

Frontend

Interfaces that stay clean.

React and Next.js for user-facing tools, personal sites, dashboards, and practical product surfaces.

Backend

APIs and services.

Node.js and Go for service integration, server-side logic, and workloads that need predictable behavior.

Data

Large batch work.

Python-based concurrent processing for large records and operationally sensitive data jobs.

Principles

  • Readable code is a feature.
  • Infrastructure should reduce operational stress.
  • A smaller system that is well understood usually wins.
  • Existing systems should be understood before they are replaced.
